What is your favorite memory as a member of the Georgia Tech Marching Band?
Miami!!! When we went to the Orange Bowl and me along with a couple of friends swam in the ocean then ran to the hotel's pool because the ocean was too cold.
What is your favorite thing about being a member of the Georgia Tech Marching Band?
Definitely the people. Everyone is accepting of weirdness because that's what the band is. It's easy to chill with people in band.
If you could offer incoming freshmen one piece of advice what would it be?
Don't get behind on schoolwork. You think you can catch up, but then another teacher assigns homework and there's more work on top of that and you end up never catching up again.
How do you balance band, school, and having a life?
Try to get the schoolwork done early, make sure my schedule is flexible for last minute band stuff and hang out with friends whenever I get the chance.
