Fresh from celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2008, the 365 member Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Marching Band is one of the oldest programs in the country. Throughout it’s history the Tech Band has performed at such prestigious events as the Citrus Bowl, Gator Bowl, All American Bowl, Aloha Bowl, Seattle Bowl, CarQuest Bowl, Peach Bowl, the Final Fours in Denver and San Antonio, and numerous other NCAA events. Members of the band have performed abroad in Dublin, Ireland, Shanghai and Bejing, China and most recently Sydney, Australia.


Students in the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Marching Band represent a wide range of colleges and courses of study yet find the music program offers plenty of fellowship, an exceptional musical outlet, and an abundance of school spirit to complete their educational experience. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Marching Band is rich in history and tradition and offers a commitment to campus and community that greatly adds to the quality of life at Georgia Tech.
